With about a hundred members in the troupe, the Bing- master, Randall Hartlieb, felt he had a good chance of producing a good show in the thirty-six months he had to work with ity and he did have to Work. Of course, he had many able assistants and trainers. The final performance in 1953 will reveal whether the endless hours of rehearsal and drill were worth- while. Through the years, many individual acts have made the headlines. Critics raved about the leader- ship of the sophomore officersflien travis, lack Trainor, Marjorie Iones, and Ioe Verschareng the dance the troupe gave in their sophomore yearf QW- The Prairie Prowl featuring Bege Cordic The next year was an important one for the Iunior Senior Prom had to be produced Ken Travis and lack Trainor president and vice president for the second year Barb Fife and Ted Holmes assumed the man agement of the troupe s Junior year Publicity for the show this year was handled by Susie Richards who capably edited the BETHEL Hl-LITE Space prohibits the mention of all the ex citing events of the past four years but mention should be made of the day the troupe got its rings and the decorating of the Gym for the lunior Senior Prom Every star was a performer through the years and every performer was a star The show will close in 1953 the troupe will dis so band When the curtains close on the last perform 27 ance in lune the end will really be the end No othe troupe will finish its performance in the old Bethel High School Perseverance did conquer all The world now awaits with wonder the appear ance of these individuals in all fields of endeavor Does one dare to think of 1973?
