umping Jerold enior loonfiom To our Senior sponsors, Mr. Lauda, Mrs. Engle, Miss Flinn, Mrs. Iack, and Mrs. Connell, We, the Senior class of '53, are profoundly grateful. If We had any problems, large or small, you were always willing to help in any way possible. At class elections, dances, graduation-these are only a few of the times you were there to give advice and moral support. As we go out to face the world alone, we will remember your guidance and counsel, and we hope that we will turn out to be citizens of whom you can be justly proud. eacon uidor ln addition to being a senior sponsor, you, Mrs. Connell, have given a great performance as our Beacon advisor, and we of the staff give you a special round of applause. For the many times you set aside your other work to attend our meetings 5 for your advice which was backed by experience: for helping us with all the problems We had: we thank you. No words we can write here will convey our appreciation. You had a big job to do, but you did it well, as all great per- formers do, and for this we will always remember you.
