VICE-'IPRESIDE RESO MR. JIM SHANN N Vice-President for Student Resources, jim Shannon, has been at Bethel since 1976. A lifelong Cumberland Presbyterian. He grew up in Memphis and graduated from Memphis State University. Mr. Shannon works with the Admissions staff in recruitment, works with students in arranging their financial aid and is responsible for student services and activities. I want Bethel College to be the best possible value and the best possible experience for its students says Mr. Shannon. That is my goal. Mr. Shannon says his biggest asset is his wife Margie and he takes great pride in his two daughters who have graduated from college and are now married. STUDE RCES

PLANNING D DE ELDPME ADMI ISTRATI E ASSISTA T BETTYANN SCOTT Mrs. Bettyann Scott is the Administrative Assistant to the Vice-President for Planning Sc Development. She came to Bethel in the spring of 1984 as Secretary of College Relations. Bettyann's duties include public relations, printing and advertis- ing ofthe College. She is editor of the alumni newspaper. Bethel Captions, maintains the College Calendar, supervisor of utiliza- tion of the Bouldin Auditorium and coordinates recognition events sponsored by the President's or Development Offices. Bettyann and her husband, Dale, live in Bradford. SECRETARY TERRY HARDY Terry Sanders Hardy is the secretary to Dr. Thomasj. Hamil- ton, Vice President for Planning and Development. Her duties include daily correspondence, telephone attendant for Campbell Hall, processing daily mail, and use of the dictaphone and word processing on an IBM compatible computer to complete vari- ous reports that our office undertakes. Her husband, William Hardy, is a Bethel alumni and is presently teaching social studies at the McKenzie junior High School. I have two sons, ages 19 and 20. Her interests include sewing, singing, and reading.

DE T RESGURCE SECRETARIE a 'Ww . Mrs. Paula Hilliard is the Financial Aid Dfficer Manager. She came to Bethel on Xugust 29, 1983. Her duties include help- ng students with Financial Aid as well as :ther job related tasks. Ms. Teresa Stafford has been working at Bethel College since September 1986. She graduated with an Academic Diplo- ma from Greenfield High School. Teresa attended The University of Tennessee at Martin and is currently taking classes part-time at Bethel. As the Admissions Office Secretary, her job duties include typing, working with computers, and processing applica- tions. Her favorite hobbies include cross- stitching and shopping.
