Student Marshals 'ere chosen to recognize scholarship and leadership in the junior class and were awarded a 3300 minimum scholarship. his scholarship was funded through the 1983-84 Presidential Club gift, a gift of property sold by the college and other esignated gifts. Marshals were selected based on leadership, high academic achievement and character. They were elected jointly by the chief academic and the chief student personnel officers.
