The purpose of the Council is to promote the cause of fraternities in general on Bethel’s campus, and to in- form the public about the activities and very natures of our fraternities. It will also serve as a vehicle for solving any problems that might arise between fraternities and guiding any cooperative effort among the fraternities.

As | write this | look about me and see stacks of photographs, papers, and old annuals, | think back over this past year’s work, and | wonder whether or not we'll make the final deadline on time. In spite of the work and the headache, | have really enjoyed editing this annual. Naturally some (maybe many) of its features will disappoint you, but | hope, all in all, that you find this annual satisfactory. | have not tried to please everybody, for th f is impossible; nor have | always been able to please myself.
