This year’s seniors may have been ani- mals at times, but they are undoubtedly a unique group of individuals. I am glad to be a part of our close-knit society. During our years of traveling the halls of the educa- tional institutions, some original class members left and many others joined our family. Besides the current class, these original members shared the thoughts and memories of the group and were perma- nently affected by our interactions. Most people believe we are different and they are right. Our family is unlike any other class of the past or of the future. Due to this, we had problems with people not un- derstanding us, but with the help of God or just good fortune, everyone from the re- maining class of 1988 graduated to the out- side world. I have some advice to give to my class- mates as they continue down that prover- bial path of life and meet its many signs: try to live the lives you dream of having but lookout for the YIELDS, STOPS, LANE ENDS, NO PASSING ZONES, and numerous DETOURS; lead the way for others but don’t pass up the MERGES with new people w'ho can teach you a part of different societies; get on those four- laned highways where the only signs for miles are SPEED LIMIT 65; and don’t for- get anyone from your great class because they’re the ones who made your life what it is today; think of us whenever you see along those roads, the hallowed sign that tells the story of our lives now and to come. This sign means more to us than anything else in the entire world. This sign is CAU- TION: SLIPPEREY WHEN WET. Thanks for everything. 11 27 Senior Division Editor
