A sure sign I should have stayed in bed is when I see that Mr. Crandall is mad. Shane Weybright A Sure Sign Of Improvement This year’s homecoming was a sure sign of improvement for Bethany. Homecoming Week was fun with all of the great activi- ties planned by the cheerleaders. The bon- fire got a little out of control as ashes show- ered neighbors’ yards, but, despite the small setback, everyone had fun watching the seniors chug Kool-Aid and burn dum- mies of the Niantic Indians. The best part of the whole week was the impressive victory over Niantic-Harris- town. The mighty Mustangs crushed the Indians 40-0 for a rare homecoming treat. After the game, many students watched the crowning of the king and queen, Lance McCain and Melissa Moody, at the annual homecoming dance. 6
