The meeting place is Oakland, California where a game of baseball is taking place. All of the classmates are gathered in the stadium to watch Mike Overlot pitch for the Oakland A's. Coach of the A's is Tim Sereda, who is carrying out the nick- name of ,,coach,‘ which he received in High School. Rev. Kim Abbott will lead in the Prayer to open the season followed by the singing of the national anthem, sung by Deana Walker. After the game in which the A’s won. the band, Angel Dust , put on their performance. Members of the band are Randy Bates, Mark Spencer, John Hill and Garry Wicker. The band also features the dance team of Cheryl Grove and Craig Burrows, who were the personality Polls best dancers in '76. Pat Tueth, an ace photographer for the Los Angeles Times, has been taking photos of both the game and the dance. These pictures will appear in the Bethany Echo. Tony Bennett has been assigned duty as law enforcer during the dance since during his high school years he got to know the law pretty good. Greg Cuttill closed his Los Angeles Star Market so that he could also attend the big event. He brought his checker. Sue Her; sack boy, Doug Moore; and stock boy, Doug Bushert who is on leave from the Navy. The rest of the class are from out of town. Some of their occupations are rather interesting. Neil Marshall is a taxidermist near Yellowstone Park. Unfortunately, Bill Reeter is the game warden at Yellowstone and for the last 20 years has had a hard time keeping Neil away from his wild game. Buck Siere owns a Playboy Club in Las Vegas after his honorable discharge from the Army. Mayor Bethany, Pam Gibbons, took time off from her many duties to be with her classmates. Barb Bland in on summer vacation from her Wom- en's Athletic teaching job at Millikin. She flew the fam- ily plane to Colorado to pick up Cheryl Williams. Cheryl and her husband live near the Wyoming border, so Barb flew on to that state to pick up Pam Richardson and her husband at their dude ranch. Gary Foster took time off from his farming to at- tend the reunion but he insisted on leaving his nagging wife at home. Greg Florey lives near Sequoia National Park where he takes care of the trimming of the tree tops. Duane Jenkins stopped off at the stadium during a cross country run for the U.S. Olympic team. Every two miles it seems, Duane has to stop and catch his breath. After all these years Elaine Marshall has branches of Mr. Drumstick restaurants all her own. Tammy Miller leads a very exciting life as she is the test driver on Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Sheila Standerfer took time off from her pharma- cutical job at the local drugstore to be with the rest of her classmates. Famous dress designer, Jane Harshman, has many shops throughout Europe. She recently was appointed fashion designer for Chastity Bono. Karen Harshman, spokesman for Lawn Equipment, Inc., now narrates American Sportsman on Sunday after- noons. Donna Martin, Guiness World Book holder for big- gest dimples, is now doing Pepsodent commercials after having the gap filled between her teeth. Barb Bone, after working many years at a shoe store, is presently employed with Dr. Schools as his full- time assistant. Karla Powell could not take off from her job at the Computer Processor Center because of technical dif- ficulties. Since our reunion has been such a success, we de- cided to hold our next reunion during football season so that we will be able to see our own Ted Boyer, who is center for the Los Angeles Rams. And after all of these years, Bobby Davis is still looking for something to do!!!!! 30 Senior Will BOBBY DAVIS leaves the year of '76 to the class of '77. TAMMY MILLER wills her driving ability to anyone that is good at dodging bridges. DEANA WALKER leaves Mark Cuttill her college educa- tion because he’ll never make it on his own.
