SYFERT - NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY SPONSOR Every organization needs an adviser to stimulate the members into developing the qualities of character, scholarship, leadership, and service. The adviser must be a very dedicated individual - one who demonstrates all qualities in the member. Mr. Samuel Syfert has been such a person. He has shown an interest in the school program and in the students of Bethany High School. He is respected by the students as well as the other members of the faculty. He realizes that leadership, cooperation, and participation of the students in the affairs of the school are necessary for effective and prosperous years in school. He has been a leader, has shown foresight, and has been more than willing to give of his own time to the activities of the society. These are the reasons he was awarded a certificate of honorary membership in the society on May 25, 1965. The 1964-1965 members of the society wish him the best of luck and ex- press their appreciation for the effort he has put forth. 36 Assistant Editor Pat Reedy REVERIE Assistant Editor Judy Bland FIRST ROW: Bill Rowe, Jim Yarnell, Donna Kluge, Judy Bland, Pam Cole, Pat Reedy, Linda Thompson, John Schwartz SECOND ROW: Chris Shonk, Mr. Balzer, sponsor; Anna Kirkwood, Diane Shelton, Sandra Mathia Bill Holland.
