“PiofiAeccf I have finally found time to relax from preparing a few dishes for our Class Reunion, which is to be held tomorrow. It just doesn't seem like ten years have passed since our class graduated. So many changes have taken place since 1955! I am happily married, and my husband has gone to the airport to meet some very good friends of ours, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Coventry. Jack always wanted to be a movie actor and he has finally reached his goal. To the public he is better known as Jeffery Scott . Oh! there is the door bell. That must be them now. Hello Janet, it was really nice of you to ask us to stay at your house so that we can attend the reunion tomorrow. I bet the kids have changed a lot since our high school days. You certainly are welcome Come into the living room and let's talk over old times. Janet, you remember Harry Bennett, don't you? Well, he is living in California, too, and is the head of the Ben-n-it chain grocery stores. He certainly has done well for himself. By the way, I saw Harry the other day and he told me Lewis Crane has a chain of Standard stations. I guess he really makes the money, but spends it twice as fast. He always was quite a play boy. Jan, I heard that Bill Boros is a Psychiatrist in New York City. He is very helpful to people who feel inferior or people who seem rather eccentric. It seems only yesterday that he acted a bit peculiar himself. I had a hard time but I finally found Jack Cutler to tell him about the reunion. He lives in Las Vegas and helps.people get divorces as fast as everything. I asked him if he knew where any of the other kids are located. He knew, to my surprise, that Wayne McReynolds owns a huge ranch in Wyoming. He raises cows, horses, and kids. Jack, I went down to a fine furniture store here in Houston to have my living room redecorated and Marjorie McReynolds was an interior decorator there. She did this room; didn't she do a wonderful job? I wonder if Ilene Queen ever got married? Yes, she did, and I know she really makes a wonderful housewife to the president of the First National Bank of Pittsburg, and a fine mother to her six children. She must be very happy? Cherie Younger married Danny Coleman who followed in his dad's footsteps and became a preacher. Cherie always wanted to teach Speech, and she now has the opportunity, to her four children. Two girls and two boys. Remember how helpful Joan Tohill was to her parents who owned a funeral home? Well, she married an undertaker and he calls her the flower of the funeral parlor because she is so helpful and pretty.

Sharon Heckler is a chiropractor in Detroit. You know she used to be a secretary to one, but she said the urge to be a chiropractor finally caught up with her so that she was no longer satisfied in being a secretary but be one herself. Did you know Lloyd Herendeen has a very good job with the government' Some sort of secret service, I think. His pay is excellent and he And his wife have a lovely apartment in Washington. I could hardly believe my ears when I heard that Paul Queen had gone to Alaska. He hunts and traps up there when he's not big game hunting in Africa. He has been in Africa so often that he says he feels that he almost knows the jungle by heart. Johnny Smith married Doris Wampler and he has taken over his dad's contracting business. He draws the plans for homes and his workers build them, under Johnny's supervision, of course. Who would ever thought that Gene Tohill would have been an undertaker, Jan? But of course he is, and also married and has three little flower girls and four little pall bearers. I didn't know that Shirley Wheeler could draw but she paints murals on peoples' walls. I understand she has painted murals on the walls of several movie stars, including mine. She hasn't married yet, but she told me she will as soon as the right guy comes along. Oh, yes, remember how much Jerry Ward used to practice on his French horn? I guess it paid off since now he plays in Liberace's Caravan, giving George some competition. My goodness, look at the time! We'd better all get some rest because tomorrow's reunion will be a big time. Hasn't it been fun discussing our classmates and old times?
