Officers this year were Dick Boyer, President; Doris Wampler, Vice-President; Nancy Tinnea, Secretary; Marjorie Mc- Reynolds, Treasurer; and Jack Cutler, Reporter. This organization, in addition to its regular duties, sponsored a box special, a talent show, the bundle drive for Korean children, and several assembly programs. Marjorie McReynolds and Jack Cutler were elected to attend the con- vention of the Illinois Association of Student Councils in Chicago. When Beverly DeVore left school, Cherie Younger was selected to continue as treasurer. Just before Christmas twelve freshmen were initiated in a candlelight ceremony following a pot luck supper to which the mothers were invited. Activities for the year included hiking, soccer, volleyball, swimming, basketball, softball, badminton and deck tennis. Cherie Younger and Dorotha Sharp were elected to attend the G. A. A.
