D.; Smothers; Alley, Mickey; Tucker. Third Row: Yeatts, Mgr.; Crews; Moore, J.; Nelson; Hill, C.; Pyrtle, B.; Pucket; Jones; Shelton, Curtis. The boys ' team was led by Dwight Moore and J. D. Hill as co-captains this year. They have learned to co-operate with their team mates, which has been a great accomplishment. Under the guidance of Mr. Pope as their coach, the boys have had a successful year. The following will not be on next year ' s team because of graduation: Houston Pyrtle; Billy Ross; Milton Alley; Dwight Moore; J. D. Hill. The ' 50 season of baseball was very successful, although few victories were won. The boys learned a lesson of encouragement and sportsmanship through the season, with Mr. Pope as their coach. We are looking forward to the next season with great enthusiasm. We will miss these familiar faces on the baseball diamond next year, because of graduation: Bill Hall Billy Ross, Milton Alley, J. W.
