This year the girls ' team was led by Carrie Carter as their captain. Although the victories were not as great as expected, we hope to be more successful in the coming years. Mr. Pope has made the greatest of efforts in trying to make the team have a successful year. The only girl the team will lose because of graduation this year is Carrie Carter. D.; Smothers; Alley, Mickey; Tucker. Third Row: Yeatts, Mgr.; Crews; Moore, J.; Nelson; Hill, C.; Pyrtle, B.; Pucket; Jones; Shelton, Curtis. The boys ' team was led by Dwight Moore and J. D. Hill as co-captains this year. They have learned to co-operate with their team mates, which has been a great accomplishment. Under the guidance of Mr. Pope as their coach, the boys have had a successful year. The following will not be on next year ' s team because of graduation: Houston Pyrtle; Billy Ross; Milton Alley; Dwight Moore; J. D. Hill.
