EDWARDS, IUPEMNYENDKNY Qgethang, lnhlahnmua The youth of America which includes you the students of Bethany are fortunate in their opportunities for securing an education. Yours is a privilege that the youth of many lands do not have. With this opportunity comes responsibility. Today you are students, tomorrow you will be leaders with the fate of America in your hands. Whether America and her Democratic way of life, which we all cherish, survives depend largely on how you and the other millions like accept the responsibilities that are now yours as students and those which will later become yours as adults. Habits and knowledge acquired here in school will chart the course you take through life. When you look back on the pages of this annual, may it be with pride and satisfaction in the knowledge that you have charted your course well in having taken advantage of the opportunities afforded you by Bethany Schools. flcthnug liluhlir jrhunls INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DIST NO 88 - OKLAHOMA COUNTY HARRY L EDWARDS, lurenmvsnnsnr Qlethang, flllklahnzxza Certainly this has been another good year for Bethany High School. My sincere thanks to many persons who have made it successful. The one to whom this is dedicated has lived a well balanced life of work, pleasure, responsibility and fGiYl1fUlf1eSS to God and the church. l would urge each student to be in tune and harmony with the Chief Director of the universe. ln years to come, as you glance through the pages of this book, l trust that you shall be re- minded ofthe principles and ideals of your school and the obligation you have to uphold these principles and ideals. Remember you are the representatives by which people shall iudge our school. May you with God's help honor now the school we ove'. . f xi, MZ f A lp 1 ,yfwwj '71 '17 'M' PRINCIPAl'S MESSAGE ALVIN BROWN Jr. High Math 8. Coach EDNA BUTLER American Hisiory 8.
