Our Junior year proved very eventful. Our first football team was established during this year with many in our class participating, Our Junior play also proved very successful by giving us a needed start on our Senior class fund, We experienced something new by choosing The Mardi Gras as a theme for our Junior-Senior banquet. By the end of our Junior year we were eagerly looking forward to our final year in high school. In our sophomore year we were back and ready to try again. Our first achievement was the initiation of the freshmen, which we enjoyed very much. We were very honored in having several queen candidates chosen from our class. and we also became active in politics and sports. By the end of the year we were well established in high school. In numerous class meetings we decided on Col- orado Springs as the destination for our Senior trip, then we all became busily engaged in mak- ing money for one of the most exciting projects of our school years.
