As the leaves start to change, we begin our journey to Bethany. Just over the hill or around the next bend is our home for the next nine months. Fall offers newness, different ex- periences, strange faces, challenging courses and interesting roommates. Freshmen move in with hopes of getting into the swing of things. They attend their first all-campus party, meet the col- lege president and some even try their first beer. Day by day the rotation of classes and professors gets to be routine. There are set times now to go to breakfast, lunch, dinner and the P.O. Satur- day ' s are busy with football, soccer and field hockey. Everyone is outside trying to get in all the studying they can before winter hits. Fall marked FHomecoming with the crowning of Sue Brigham as queen, the Delts winning the float com- petition, a rugged football game and dancing to Lester Lanin. It ' s the time for the Delt Heaven and FHell, Zeta halloween party, the KD pumpkin carving and Halloween caroling, the Phi Mu Boos, Phi Tau corn roast, the Beta Fall Ball and many more! And all along the Sophomore Slump is there, the Juniors begin their preparation to be Seniors, and the Seniors complete their long pro- cess of doing practicums, senior projects, re- sumes, comps and finally graduating.
