This is Bethany College. Here, we had our own Bicentennial without the excuse of the 76 celebration. There were no surges of patriotism or flashes of red, white and blue; only the significant elements of revolution . . . Renovation — of Old Main, the Delta Tau Delta house and Cochran Hall; Reform — new I.D. cards, an interim president, probations, administrative re-assignmentS; Rotation — of classes, of professors and of fall, winter and spring. These seasons brought with them their own special spirit.

Fall beckons us to Bethany. It offers newness; different experiences, strange faces, challenging courses, interesting roommates. There are those activities that belong only to fall — the Homecoming dance, football and soccer gomes and Halloween with the Phi Tau Greasers and the Phi Mu Boos. Yet prevalent in the minds of the upperclassmen is the thought that fall means there is one less year to go.
