Homecoming Traditions Homecoming 1975 was filled with many traditions. It marked the return of float competitions between hous- ing units. The Sigma Nu Mooers as clowns, along with the cheerlead- ers, twirlers, Bethanettes and band added to the football festivities. The return of alumni, dancing with Lester Lanin, Jesse Colin Young in Concert and parties concluded weekend tra- ditions. Homecoming Queen Audrey Holcomb is congratulated with a kiss from Sigma Nu Mooer Mark Cohen. Queen candidate Potti Moore and escort David Wright. 16

Fraternities waiting to display their flogs. Wake Addresses Convocation On November 20, 1975 Bethany College welcomed its new interim president, Dr. Orville Woke, at a formal convocation. He was introduced by Dr. Perry Gresham, chairman of the Bethany College Board of Trustees. Attending the event were trustees, department chairmen, administrative heads and students from fraternities, sororities and independent housing units. Dr. Wake addressed the college on goals he wishes to achieve during his interim period. Dr. Kenney awarded scholastic achievement awards to the housing units that displayed the highest grade point average for the Spring of 1975. The W. Kirk Woolery Award went to McEochern and the Anno Ruth Bourne Award went to Goodnight. Orville Woke, Interim President, expresses his gools for Bethany. 18
