Professor of Religion Acting Head of the Department RELIGION The Bethany College Religion Department provides a focus of religious meanings for the guidance of life and integration of knowledge, and prepares students planning to enter the various branches of the Christian Ministry for graduate study in professional schools of religion. Dr. Robert A. Preston is Professor of Religion and Head of the Department. Dr. Lester G. McAllister, Dr. Osborne Booth, Mr. Harold C. Doster, and Dr. Roy C. Snodgrass, complete the staff. The aims of the department are to pro- vide higher education in the atmosphere of Christian ideas and Christian faith and to assist in the development of the moral character and religious life of its students.
