EBENEZER LEE PERRY 9 Medfvo Ucun X E, the editors of the Bethanian, feel that recognition should be made of the contribution made by Ebenezer Lee Perry, Professor-Emeritus, better known to us all as Prof Perry. A graduate of Bethany, he returned to his Alma Mater to teach after graduate study at Yale and Columbia. He served the college as a professor from 1908 to his retirement in 1939. Watching Bethany grow, he was always eager to help the students in any way he could. Some time after his retirement, he reentered active duty at the college as operator of the Bookstore. It was then that most of us got to know him. The loss of his presence and familiar smile has been felt by us all.

Under the presidency of Dr. Wilbur Cramblet, Dean Bernal R. Weimer is Dean of Faculty, Dean Forrest H. Kirkpatrick is Dean of Students, Mr. John Gerald Patterson is Director of Admissions and Alumni Secretary, Mr. Carroll B. Fitch is Business Manager, Mr. Newton W. Evans is Bursar, and Mr. E. Hugh Behymer is Librarian. The Board of Trustees, one-third of which is elected annually, guides the policies and procedures of the college.
