DEAN WEIMER Bernal R. Weimer, Dean of Facul- ty, is what the sign on his office door says, but Dean Weimer is much more to Bethany than that. He is head of the Biology department, punster su- perlative, and gardener de-luxe. His pet hobby at the present time, is the Bethany Band. He has worked untir- ingly to build this into the fine musical organization it now is. Dean Weimer is co-author of several Biology books and manuels, and is the man behind the witty and amusing collection of Bi-illogical poems . . . Dean Weimer, just by being his own unconventional self has become one of Bethany ' s most outstanding personages. DEAN HOAGLAND Dean of Women, Head of the Eng- lish Department. At the present time she is studying the finer points of the art of becoming a veterinarian under the more or less able instruction of Dr. Mahan. Miss Hoagland is without a doubt one of the busiest people in Bethany. Running the English department is a job that would leave an ordinary per- son hopelessly muddled, but besides that, she solves problems, and acts as general trouble-shooter for Bethany ' s 125 women students. She is also fac- ulty advisor for the Student Guides, and an active participant in the Royal Order of the Red Rose. 13
