Keith Hooley Being different is something that is always openly or secretly admired. Bethany is different. You can feel it when you 're watching for winningj a soccer game or burning your hands on a stupid rope or talking to your favorite teacher fas a personj or experiencing a chapel that makes you stay awake. C Just knowing that when this many people believe in Bethany it's got to be good! ' fad Sandy Troycr 'iWork is love made visible Kahlil Gibran Friday, April 3 dawned bright and warm. Ten car washes and ten bake sales were manned in Goshen, Elkhart, and the surrounding communities. Mothers, girls, and the home ec classes had been busy making . . . cakes, cookies, brownies, noodles, and pies .... crews of students were sent out to do any kind of work for people who had called in and asked for them. Saturday was the big day at the school with a rummage sale, a chicken bar-b-que ,... and a huge auction. Together we discovered that Bethany is well worth 340,500 of hard work.
