A Seed Shall Grow ESTI-IER SOBEL That morning I was up at dawn. How ardently I did pray That the seed l would plant should grow, For you see, it was Arbor Day. I was very young then And the ways of the world were unknowng I didn't realize how unlikely it would be For my small seed to grow, once sown. They took us away that day For there was a terrible warg I cried and cried for my tree Until my eyes grew sore. My father said kindly to me Your tree will grow big and strong, Many will come to rest in its shade . Wait and see if I'm wrong.
