Last Will Anc Bessemer High School City of Greensboro County of Guilford We, the Senior Class of 1955, being only half sound in mind and body, do declare this to be our last will and testament. ITEM I To the faculty we leave our appreciation and thanks for the guidance during our four memorable years in high school. ITEM II To the rising Senior Class we bequest the front center section of the auditorium along with the privilege of coming to the auditorium first. ITEM III To the rising juniors we leave the privilege of receiving your class rings and treat- ing the Seniors at the Junior-Senior Banquet. ITEM IV To the sophomores to be, we leave the privilege to stroll up the halls at any time of the school day. ITEM V Dear Freshmen to be, you are now in high school! Congratulations! ITEM VI Individual Bequests and Bequeaths of Lesser Nature Wayland Medley leaves his curly hair to Lanny Moore. Dale Kiser leaves his quietness to Winburn Lowdermilk. Janette Dean leaves her height to Mary Jo Allen. To Shirley Cleary goes Carolyn Strickland's dark complexion and dark hair. Jack Cagle leaves his position on the basketball team to George. Audrey O'Ferrell leaves her winning smile to Peggy Peoples. Nancy Allen leaves her talents to do things to her good friend Kathie. Larry Hatley leaves his thundering voice to Dawson Strider. Bobby Williams leaves his ability to get along with the teachers to J. W. Lovings. Jackie Touchstone leaves her conceit to Janice Roach. Bill Huffing leaves his ability to sleep in geometry and still pass to Edward Harris. Richard O'Neal leaves his best-all-round title to Richard Turner. Jerry Tucker leaves his school bus to Melvin Davis. Jimmy Taylor leaves...............to join his wife. Laura Mills leaves her personality to Ruth Elliot. Frank Bailey leaves his specks to John Holt. James Bell leaves his sarcastic ways to Billy Ray. With a diamond on her finger, Betty Butler leaves, looking for Dan. Ronald Euliss leaves his hot-rodding to Jackie Glass. Nancy Dixon leaves, with her sister Ann to follow in her footsteps. Jerry Frye leaves her shorthand book to Doris Stanley. Margaret Leach leaves her typing speed to Carolyn Myers. Audrey Clark leaves her chewing gum to anyone who can chew it. Teddy Strickland leaves his ability to burn weeds to Charles Andrews. To Judy Pennington goes Ann Sheppard's ability to skip classes. Tommy Turner leaves his good looks and ability to get along with Mrs. Nichols to BABE Newell. Peggy Schoolfield leaves her ability to loaf to Claudia Whitfield. Rachel Johnson leaves her red hair to her sister Elizabeth. Ralph Apple leaves, after 14 long years. Annie Carroll leaves her quiet disposition to Carolyn Heath. Lynda Thompson and Ernestine Pruitt leave all their helpful willingness to all mem- bers of the up-and-coming Freshmen. Jo Ann Friend leaves her school girl figure to Mary White Heath. Jean Lovings leaves her magazine Seventeen and her title Best Dressed to Judy Henderson. Ray O'Ferrell leaves his ability to talk up a baseball game to Ken Person.
