'sqm LEFT TO RIGHT Jean Littlefield Recording Secretary Mary Fuller Corresponding Secretary Scott Dow Chairman The Besse High School Safety Council 1S a newly formed organiza tion 1n our school Its chief purpose is to promote safety among pedes trians bicycle riders and automobile drivers We have acquired a bulletin board and are displaying various posters as can be seen in the picture above, Mary Fuller and Scott Dow represented our Safety Council at the Maine Youth Safety Council meeting at Augusta this year, and while there, they received some good ideas about how to run our council. Students who JOIH our Safety Council must show an active interest in highway safety. They receive a membership card and a sticker for an automobile bumper when they join. We plan to present a program for the P.T.A, sometime in the spring. Scott Dow
