t SIC We the Sen1or Class of 1959 began our Freshman year at Besse wrth 16 members Tlns year we started to earn money for our Sen1or tr1p by selling refreshments at basketball games and presentlng two one act plays 1n the sprmg We were sorry to lose Leo Thompson early rn the year Our class advrsor was Mrss Aaskov In our Sophomore year we lost Leota McChesney and gamed Horace tered two plays ln the one act play contest This was the year of the f1re at Besse so we attended school at Unlty for the second half of the year Our class advlsor was Mxss McGowan Back at Besse for our Junlor year we agaln had 16 members Al though we lost Roy Fuller we gamed Sonja Tuttle and Nancy Day Once more to ra1se money we sponsored two food sales put on a supper for the Lrons Club and sold refreshments at two more basketball games We also had two Chrtstmas plays Agarn Miss McGowan was our class advrsor We regret to say that our membershrp dwtndled to 11 as Raymond Meader Ronald Young, Soma Tuttle Chnstrne Rackleff and Manlyn Fitch could not jorn our forces for our blg year Thrs year wlth Mrss Mltchell as our advlsor to earn the rest of our money for our Washmg ton trrp, we plcked potatoes, put on two suppers had a food sale a three act play, and sponsored several record hops We feel that our years at Besse have been well spent as everyone has part1c1pated rn many acttvrtles Several of us plan to further our educat1on to better prepare us for our careers so we are thankful for our background at Besse George Wrggtn FlakSSjHlQW'lRly Robinson.
