And even if we won't admit it, the three boys we have now are rather precious creatures-and are to be handled with kid gloves. We can look still farther into the future-June, 1945-what then? We will be ready to take our places in the working world. That time seems so far away we don't like to think of it. At times we may get tired of school and say we'd like to quit but if we did how we'd miss it. Next year we hope to do something which so far has not been accom- plished-rid B. H. S. of its greatest pest-Detention. If we did this we would certainly be remembered by the students of B. H. S., fespecially the present Freshmanb. In fact they might erect a plaque or some such thing in our memory It's something to work for anyway J AVI-DRILL 45 I WISTFUL WISHING In September 1942 we began our high school career as freshman The first day we were very happv and gan nex er thinking, of the fate to befall us Then came the Freshman Reception and we were tamed dox n some After that we realized we had better start studying if we ex er hope l to become dignified sophomores So study we did Then September 1943 and we were once more beginning school only as sophomores this year We watched the freshmen at their reception 9 ' v w rf ' - f . . , v A , , . . . . . u Y Y Y ' V . r .- u Q. 7 sf 1 ' v , ,. . . i , V . .
