Students are encouraged to take math and sciences courses. There are three shops-welding, ma- chine and sheetmetal. Each is a well equipped laboratory, where correct methods, better and safer habits are taught. Students must complete the English and history requirements of the Ber- wick Area Joint Senior High School. About fifty percent of the studentis time is devoted to practical work. Each year the number of boys enrolled in this course increases and its program is stead- ily improving. Much of the instruction in the course is given on the home farms of the boys themselves.
