THE PANTHER BERTRAM HIGH SCHOOL SCENES OF B.H.S. DEDICATION We the Panther Annual Staff respectfully dedicate the 67 Panther Annual to Mr. F. M. Bailey. We believe his long years of faithful service to B.H.S. should be duly recognized. Anyone that undertakes such a job undertakes quite a number of responsibilities. Mr. Bailey has met all of these responsibilities with flying colors. ADMINISTRATION SUPERINTENDENT MR. B. C. SIMS B.B.A. - Texas A I M. Ed. - SWTSC 6 years As you leave school your paths will turn in dif- ferent directions; some to college and others to the varied fields of the world’s work. I hope that you have had instilled within you certain characteristics that will aid you in pursuing your chosen field. I hope that as you depart, you will be aware that the truly worthwhile things in life are often difficult to attain and that the difficulties and disappointments that we experience in their attainment make us worthy of the rewards. B. C. Sims PRINCIPAL The objective of Bertram High School is to train boys and girls to become useful men and women of this nation, this state, and this community. Also, we want each student trained physically and mentally in the basic subjects so that they may compete on equal terms for all that life may have to offer. We feel that because of the splendid co-operation received from you - the student body - this aim has been accomplished. I wish to congratulate the Senior Class, the An- nual Staff, and any others who have helped in the publication of this annual on a worthwhile job well done. Walter M. Dennis MR. WALTER M.
