shovts In the sixth grade we lost Harold Thorpe and Elton Waggenel but gained Don Engelhardt Mis Shreves was our teacher that year At the end of the year we went on a Sixth Glade Sneak Day to Denver en by three of the girls In the tenth year nve new people 'Vlargaret Ward Wilma Wllson Leona Bates John Durbin and Don Wmdna el entered the class Also four students Richard Zimmer man Arthur Patterson LeMo1ne sponsor The first party was a theater party held at Loyeland on March 20 The Latm class attended a real1st1c Roman Banquet given at the MCBI1d9 Hotel The group enjoyed a picnic at the end of the year One new person Enid Hillman enrolled in the JUHIOI year and the class lost slx former members Don Wmdnagel Wanda Rose Berglm Leona Bates Wilma Wilson Carl Harms and Margaret Ward Bonnie Bristow and Ray Bristow moved away after Christ mas Ofiicers were chosen as follow Sarah Fagan president Helen Anderson vlce president Betty Smith ecretary Peuben Gabelhouse tleasurer and sponsor Mrs Anne Hanna The class enyoyed a party at the home of Sarah Fagan on September 28 The class play Ready Made Famlly was glxen Ncyember 24 The Junlor Senior Banquet on April 20 was the ou standing soclal ex ent of the year A picnic at Allen s Park was held by the class at the end of the year On entering the last year of school tvto former members Julia Larson and Helen Sterkel were lost Officers were chosen the first week of school president Ray Wilhelm vice president Dave Felix secretary Enid Hillman treasurer Reuben Gabelhouse and sponsor Mrs Hanna The first event of the year was the freshmen receptlon which was different and more enjoyable than before A Halloween party vtas enJoyed at the home of Sarah Fagan On November 18 we en oyed a formal dinner dance given by one half of the class at Wllllams Cafe in Longmont Just before Christmas vacation a scaxenger hunt was enyoyed by everybody at the home cf Bonnie MacBr1de The other half of the class gayc a party in the spring In April we emoyed the Junior Senior Banquet On sneak day everyone was fooled when .ne had a xery enyoy able two day house patty The jumors didnt even know about lt All of the high school participated ln a costume day a parade was held and prizes were given for the best costumes Baccalaureate services were held May 11 Class night was May 13 and Commence ment May 15 RAY WILHELM BONNIE MacBR1DE and BIIL
