Davis, principal of Berryhill High School, took up that position at the beginning of the 1944-45 school term. His past experience in school work was in Unionville, N. C., Where he served as school principal for twelve years. Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and has been carrying on graduate Work there since his graduation. He is a member of the North Carolina Educational Association. His rank in the Auxiliary Police is that of First Lieutenant. In the short time that Mr. Davis has been with us his fair and square dealings have proven that he is interested in our problems. and in bettering our welfare in whatever way possible. His relations with the community have been quite favorable. He constantly endeavors to improve himself and is interested not only in curricular, but extra-curricular activity. The members of the entire student body heartily extend to our principal, who possesses genial, cooperative qualities, wishes for many more happy and successful years at Berryhill. . if 246
