0' fl U 'W -M' 0 AJ' Lf CL SS PHUPHEEY The small room of Senor Rico was a scene of much confusion this par- ticular night in the last of April. Almost a hundred souls stood in line waiting for Senor Rico to tell what fate had in store for them. The rest of the party was forgotten- Senor Rico was their only concern. Suddenly without warn- ing the trumpets were heard-the time had come. Two enormous body guards faced the crowd. Their skin seemed to reflect the scene and their eyes glowed as if lighted by the Evil One himself. The first victim was drawn forward by some strange unknown force as the Senor was waving his hands over an enormous crystal ball placed in the center of a richly furnished room. His head slowly moved forward and sound went forth even though the rest of his body seemed lifeless. My friends, as you very well know, l am about to tell you what fate has in store for you. Now as my crystal ball grows clearer, I can plainly see your successes, failures, and attempts and plights of life. I will hereby try to describe them to you as they are portrayed to me through my crystal ball: Dorothy Freeman and Vera Baker are star reporters for the New York Times.
