THE GOLF TEAM SWINGS INTO ACTION The golf team of 1967 practiced long and hard last year. Mr. Taiclet, the team’s sponsor and instructor, guided our boys to a proud standing in the Blossomland Conference. The team members are shown in the above picture from left to right: standing are Mr. Taiclet, Greg Green, Scott Boehm, Greg Pennington, and Paul Sprung; kneeling are Mark Calay, Don Lange, Danny Lord, and Ron Rudlaff. Greg Pennington is at the peak of his powerful driving swing. Long drives play an important role in the game of golf. Constant practice is the major ingredient in yielding a constant long distant drive. Greg Green is lining himself up to the ball and is preparing to swing his club. Technique of grip, stance, swing, and putting all play an important part in the making of a fine golfer. 10
