Eglin SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Betty Knollmueller treasurer Ann Faulkner vuce presudent Jon Wolcott presudent Janet Buxby secretary Gaul Tullman reporter As the last days of sprung dwundled unto summer the Senuor Class suddenly realuzed that hugh school days were over The class must now aclapt themselves to beung mature adults ready to use the knowledge gauned through the combuned efforts of teachers and educators The class of 56 has not only been a great workung one but also has been unuque Theur freshman year was devoted to gettung ac quaunted wuth the hugh school lufe Several bake sales and scrap druves helped to rause money for partues and other expenses Mr Donald Ashdown was the faculty advusor The sophomore year was governed wuth an eye for the future Several money makung prouects were planned and used for the com ung Junuor Senuor Prom Class rungs were ordered and uoyously receuved Mr Wulluam Gruffen was faculty advusor The uunuor year proved to be very full for every member of the class A successful magazune sale made the treasury bulge Other money makung prouects Included the sellung of concessuons at basketball games and enguneer hats at the tournaments The Junuor Senuor Prom presented by the lunuors was the funest Prom ever held un the hugh school The center of attractuon was a stream that flowed down a hullsude unto a pool Fresh flowers were used for the ceulung and crepe paper for the walls After the delu clous dunner dancung was enuoyed wuth the musuc of Charley Burd and hus orchestra The weeks of plannung wuth the help of Mr Carl Buxby paud off wuth the funal success The senuor year was the most excutung and memorable of all The enture year was de voted to the rausung of money for the Senuor Trup to Washungton D C The trup was planned and carrued out by lnduan Trauls Inc A wonderful and an unforgettable tume was enuoyed by everyone The Senuors raused money for the trup by operatung the con cessuons at both the football and basketball games Scrap druves bake sales and after the game dances also helped to uncrease the treasury A chuckeru supper and a ham supper plus a Donkey Basketball game added the funal touches to funance the trup Mr Vuctor Kung was faculty advusor The Junuor Play was entutled In Sprung the Sap The Junuor Senuor Play was entutled On the Nught of January 15th Mass Rose mary Good acted as durector K C 7? 0 11 u 2 ,, L V . .
