Adminisf on DOUGIAS H. WATSON PRINCIPAL Douglas Watson, Principal Mr, Watson has been principal at Ber- rien Springs High since the fall of 1946. His duties also include teaching speech and journalism. He taught at Pontiac Senior High for 3 years and at Mason High School for 4 years. Mr. Watson was principal at Williamsburg High School for 1 year. Mr. Watson holds both a Bachelor and Master-'s Degree from the University of Michigan. He served in the U. S. Navy for 2 years, 6 lEE F. AUBLE SUPERINTENDENT Lee F. Auble Superintendent Mr. Auble has been superintendent oi Berrien Springs Public Schools since the fall of 1952. Previously he had been superintendent of Gobles Public Schools for five years. He attended Western Michigan Col- lege of Education where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree. He eamed a Masters' Degree at Michigan State College. Mr. Auble also was principal at Haslett one year and superintendent at Clarksville for one year. He taught in Grand Ledge for S years, Mr. Auble has served in the U. S. Navy for 3 years.

Forward With a summer filled with pleasures and disappointments, behind them, the students of Berrien Springs High School entered an eventful 1954-1955 school year, Many new names appeared in the class rolls and faculty list. New equipment was put to good use during the school year, especially the lockers in the first floor hall of the high school. A new ceiling in the gymnas- ium and band room aided both performers and audience. A public address sys- tem was installed during the summer vacation, it saved many footsteps for students and faculty. A review of the events which brought excitement, downfalls, and honors are found in each division of the book. Numerous school plays and extra-curricular activities are found in their respective divisions. Good reading to all who scan this book. Bonnie Brown Editor
