Row 3: Jim Fryman, Lynn Harrington, Raymond Jesswein, Jay Kettlchut, Frank Lausch, Janet Letcher. Row 4: Barbara Maddux, Kenneth McNcely, Pat Miller, Mary Moore, Alice Myers, Paul Pollard. Row 5: Bobbie Rolen, Fay Ross, Ronnie Rowley, Pearl Sanders, Kenneth Schaber, Arden Jones. Row 6: Jim Scofield, Richard Shafer, Wayne Shoop, Phil Stroud, Joyce Tropp, Betty Tucker. Row 7: Barbara Utrup, Hunter Watson, Dorothy Weaver, Shirley Wrcgglesworth, Terry Zerby. Absent: Bruce Boyer, Sandra Brigham, Andrew Long, Ester Wallace. Only six of this eighth grade group started as Kindergartners in Berrien Springs. Those six are: Lynn Harrington, Burl Boyer, Bruce Boyer, Terry Zerby, Dalton Dean and Eleanor Barnhart. This group of eighth graders has the distinction of being the first eighth grade group to draw up and adopt a constitution of its own to facilitate class meetings. The Class officers during the first semester were: Ronnie Rowley as President, Bobby Rolen Vice-president, Eleanor Barnhart Secretary, Joyce Tropp Treasurer, Betty Tucker Reporter, Kenneth McNeely as delegate to Student Council with Alice Myers and Jack Fryman as Alternates. Second Semester officers were: President Bobby Rolen, Vice-president Ronnie Rowley, Secretary Eleanor Barnhart, Treasurer Joyce Tropp, Reporter Barbara Utrup. Student Council representatives are elected for a full school year. 19
