Class Prophecy May 16, 1963 Dear Lois: Have you heard from Ruth Zelmer lately? She is John Robbins private secretary at his electric fly swatter factory. Did you know that Boh Guettler and Charles Clark are teaching music at New York University? Jack Thierbach is there too, as head football coach. 1 hear that Joe Bulkowski is the new Doctor in Berrien Springs now, and Roy Prillwitz just became the veterinarian for the county. Emil Pollard was just elected president of the American Mdical Association too. Isn’t it swell! I saw Mary Stroud yesterday. She’s running a heauty shop here in San Francisco. It’s right next to Dorothy Carter’s snack bar. Phyllis George stopped by the other day. She certainly looks nice in her Wave uniform. Oh yes, she told me that Evan Ferris and Don Geisler are both officers in the Navy now. 1 didn’t know that Dean Wilson was a salesman. We met at Bill Spaulding’s night club last week. Derrel Watkins was there as an entertainer. Chester Warsco came in later. He owns a huge ranch in Texas now. Have you seen or heard from Nancy Burkett or Edna Mae Zelomer lately? They are housewives, still the same as Mary Ann Fryman and Glenda Manasco aren’t they? I understand Ernest Hildebrand, Victor Banish, Eugene Tilly and Junior Rudowske all have their own farms. What about Bill Pudell, is he a pastor yet? I see Barbara Burdick quite often. She is a buyer for Wymans of South Bend. Charles Harding just made another hit record. Have you heard it yet? It was written by Bill Feather and Paul Koehler and is really selling. Dale Whetstone is president of Model Motors Inc., did you know? John Chandler works for him as head mechanic and Allan Enders is chief electrician. 1 think Dennis Kettlehut also works there in the research department. Ronald Lucas heads the journalism department at Leo Spencers night school, now that he is out of the Navy. By the way, how is your florist shop coming along? You couldn’t have found a better name than “Schmidt’s Floristry.” Well I really have to go now. This nursing profession really keeps you busy. Write soon and tell me all the news. Bye now, Bonnie 11
