Awards Are Presented The annual awards assembly was held on May 19. Scholarships, class awards, attendance certificiates and special recognitions were given, along with band, music and physical fitness awards. BHS athletes and cheerleaders were also recognized. Right: Stephanie Mayberry received the chorus award. She was also given a certificate of recognition for achieving a 1” rating on her vocal solo at state music competition. Below Right: Bob Hughes was presented with the personal culture and consumer math awards. He was also given the $200 FHA scholarship.
