Betas Attend Convention The Bernie Beta Club attended the State Beta Club Con- vention on March 26-28, 1982. With chaperones and Beta members loaded in a bus, the group traveled to St. Louis to unite with other Beta Club Chapters. There were places to go, meetings to attend and people to meet. And when the work was completed — there was fun. Greg Norman, State Beta President for 1981-82, said good-bye to all the Beta members in his final address, to successfully conclude the convention. Top Left: Rhonda Mekan smiles at the camera as Jim Berry concentrates on how many licks it takes to get to the center of his tootsie-pop. Top Right: A group of Beta Club members are caught meditating. Left: Greg Norman. State Beta Presi- dent, delivers his farewell address. Above: This clan of Betas is sticking to the theory that closeness is important in the success of another Beta Club Conven- tion. 11
