On May 2, 1980 the Junior Class presented the gradu- ating class with their prom. The theme The Long and Winding Road was depicted with a bridge and stone path, which led to a fountain in the middle of the dance floor. An arched gateway and picket fence entwined with rainbow colored flowers separated the dance floor from the cafe area. Green metallic streamers also shim- mered above the walls of metallic and latticework pa- per. A banquet was held before the prom. Mr. Don Lee was the guest speaker. The class wills and prophecies were also read. The sophomores that held the highest grade average were given the opportunity to serve at the banquet, which also meant a special invitation to attend the prom. Music for the prom was provided by the River City Sound System. Top Left: Patti Bishop looks over- whelmed at her first prom with Colby Quinn. Middle Left: Sheila Norman and her date.
