Her students have included Bien Vereen, Lester Wilson, Michael Peters and Chuck Davis. Hier program transports the audience through a spectrum of colorful African rituals, moving spirituals, authentic jazz and powerful contemporary works fea- turing such noted composers as Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Roberta Flack, and The Blackbyrds. Bernice Iohnson's Dance Company was varied and enioyable . . .
