They have been seen around school constantly snapping pictures hoping to capture the essence of a person scene or activity at Berner. They also develop their own film and print enlargements. Ski Club The Ski Club has sponsored various trips to the nearby mountains to enloy the exhilarating fun of skiing Many of the members are avid skiers who coast down the expert slopes while others are just beginners learning the basics The club was formed in response to the growing popularity of skiing Under the direction of Mrs Urban the club has grown to be one of the largest Berner with an ultimate trip to Canada in the planning Drama Club The Drama Club produced two plays this year. The Wedding was a one-act hit. The actors and stage crew were talented and dedicated and the direction was superb. The main production Play On offered further proof of the club s ability to create comical productions. This year the Drama Club under the new guidance of Mrs. Helen Anderson has continued in its tradition of bringing enjoyment to Berner.

Cheerleading A main source of school spirit at Berner is the cheerleaders. This enthusiastic group of girls starts the school year out on the right foot by par- ticipating in pep rallies.
