Spirit and Determination Prove to be Winning Combination O . Badminton is probably the least talked about team in Berner. Yet its record for the past several years ranks with those of other good teams here. The team has spirit, and each girl is loyal and dedicated to the sport. Mr. Lou N etter, the coach of the team for several years, has remained a clear ex- ample of the dedication of this group. Chris Viladesau, a senior member with three years on the team, is one of the best doubles players there is. Her drive and hard work have led to her position of first doubles, something she should be very proud of. Marietta Cavassa has become a crucial part of the team since her entry two seasons ago. Singles or doubles, she always plays well and encourages her fellow players to do the same. Donna Lee, a three year member, and Donna Panico, in her first season, are the remaining two seniors. Their winning combination this year has provided the team with a lot of spirit. These girls get out there and have fun. The team would be nowhere without its non- senior members. All the badminton seniors would like to thank Debbie DeRosa, Denise Panico, Deb- bie Yee, Kim Pellegrino, Lisa Koch, Nancy Tsai, Shannon Ryan, and Dorothy Weigand for the time and energy they devoted to make this great season fun for all. fFirst rowjz Alysa Adcock, Sue Goettler, Donna Lee, Debbie Yee, Dorothy Weigand. Returning Talent Sparks Victories The golf team enjoyed a very successful season this year As one of Nassau's top teams last year the team was determined to 1m prove even further upon their impressive record The team was lead by returning starters Bob Mugavero Corey Kilgannon and junior Greg Schementi.
