Hard Work and a Well-Balanced Team Make for a Pla off Finish The Berner Hockey Team finished a tough season by fighting in the playoffs. The spirited play of this well-balanced team, ranging from three returning seniors, cap- tain Bill deBruin, center Matt Ryan and right defenseman Chris Heckman, to an eighth grader, left wing Denis deBruin, made this fine finish possible. This season was one of rebuilding. Many newcomers ,J were added to the club, and they developed V a sense of team work. Next season promises i to be an exciting one with many young talents.
