The girls placed Hun. -Ari' sixth in the county and third in 1 y, . ' NWA ff ..i-351.2 their conference. They took part in the St. Anthony's Invitational and also the Teddy Roosevelt Meets. Their thorough Workouts sometimes included ten miles a day. All-Division Champs were Colleen Cooke, Tina Donohoe, Andrea Hamula, Diane Attenburger, and the All- Conference selection was Tina. Patty Zicari, Chris Boran, Ianine Radomski, and Karen Matulonis were all great in- spirations for each other as Well as con- tributors to their team's triumph. They had fun, but it was the hard Work, determination, team spirit, and dedica- tion of their coach, Mr. Trentowski, that led them to a 10-4 record. The team will be losing four seniors this year, Andrea, Ianine, Chris, and Karen, but next year's prospects look good.

New Members Spark Effort Team Makes Count Playoff The field hockey team surprised itself by achieving great success which enabled them to qualify for the first round of the playoffs. With only four returning starters, the season seemed bleak. However, the new team members added talent and performed well in difficult situations. The team learned the skills and rules necessary to play the game, which at first were difficult to comprehend. Leading the team were senior co-captains Lisa Venturino Cforwardj, and Suzanne Leonard Cmidfielderj. Lisa Venturino and Suzanne Leonard were selected as All-County players.
