Not Shown - Peter Cavassa. With the 1981 Basketball season almost over, the Mighty Bisons have proved to be one of the strongest teams in their divi- sion. With new coach Paul Bosco, Captains Mike Pugliese and John Nolan, and seniors John Buckley, Brian Kruger, Chris Geiger, Larry Young, and Eric Wilenski the season looks promis- ing and could be one of Berner's first championship basketball team's ever. Holding a current second place in their conference, Berner gave first place East Meadow its first loss recently by a score of 59-40. Other games have included 2 easy wins over cross-town rivals Massapequa by scores of 63-38, and 61-57. Good Luck to the entire team on finishing the season with that first place title.
