I always come up short I It is a special type of person that inspires students to pool their assets together and come up with a memorable gift. This is the case with Mr. Sossei’s onc-a-crasi 621X11 classes April Fool’s Day ’82. You can see the look of surprise on his face as the ZING-A-GRAM-MER came into his room unannounced. The library is a very unique spot. It is a sanctuary for those who need time to study and think. It becomes a mini- auditorium when chairs and desks are rearranged so that a class can watch a videotaped show or the marvels of the space shuttles' liftoffs and landings. The library also doubles as our audio-visual center, where the equipment is kept until needed, and a mini-lab where our Apple computer is housed. The librarians and Mrs. Dow (bottom center) are there to help us when we need it. They help us sort through the volumes of information open to us and select the particular information we'll need to complete our tasks. The librarians also set up a yearly bookfair which is an ever increasing success. 27
