History is being made every day, but few other people realize it. Many of us have fathers or grandfathers that fought in wars that we now read about in textbooks. History has a way of repeating itself and hopefully, we as a society, will learn from past mistakes. Our teachers bring us back in time and help us relive what has gone on before. Social Studies is like a time machine where we study all major events from revolutions to witches' trials. We progress from early man through the birth of our nation to the new rocket age. Mr. H. “

Gently now I tuck away The treasures of another day. A word, a smile, a moment shared. All telling me that someone cared. A wisp of rainbow wrapped in dew, A bit of birdsong old but new, A crimson flower in a bowl. To lift the spirit, feed the soul. Wendy Smith Class of '83 Ms.Saine is a special friend to most everyone in school. If anyone has a problem or question he or she can always go to her for some very sound advice. Ms. Saine has very many good qualities that endear her to her students. She has a great sense of humor and is always willing to hear a good joke. She is always kind and considerate of others and will try to find ways of making them feel better if they have an off day. Ms. Saine can always be counted on to help in a jam. A few years ago, she showed us what a good sport she could be by having someone throw a pie in her face for a fund raising activity when she was the senior advisor. She is still advising classes, but she hasn’t gotten the meringue out of her hair yet, so she hasn’t done it since. Even though Ms. Saine disects animals in her classes, she really enjoys them. She also loves plants (even though they tend to die on her sometimes), her room is like a greenhouse. All in all Ms. Saine is very special to us and we wanted to take this opportunity to let her know.
