MATH J. Porter Mr Dennis stimulates the 7th grade mathematicians with new concepts. He. in turn, is challenged by our computers and can be found engrossed in a computer game with Mr Porter, our Space Invaders Champion, who is often quoted as saying. My mission in life is to save all mankind. Mr. Porter, our 8th grade math teacher, takes over where Mr. Dennis leaves off. Mrs. Dolgowich, chairman of the department, was instrumental in developing our new sequential math program Along with Mrs. D came our computers, and because of her expertise wisdom and ”fun-to-be-with personality, our computer program has grown into something extraordinary. Mr. Sossei delivers his lessons mostly through lectures. He enjoys giving out perplexing problems and helping his students to work them out on their own. He teaches a wide range of classes—from foundation courses to trigonometry and Math 12. The newest addition to the math department is Mrs. Holm. She puts her basic math and geometry classes through the paces , but she does so with a charming personality and a warm smile. We hope that Mrs. Holm will enjoy working with our staff and students and be around for a long while. rift

Mrs. Ambrosio is our sprightly young English teacher for the 8th and 11th grades. She delivers her lessons with a wonderfully humorous pitch.but gets her point across with absolute clarity. Mrs. Lapinski has a structured and serious, yet enthusiastic attitude toward all facets of English. Her 9th grade students leave her class with more appreciation for the subject. In addition to this, she teaches a literature and drama course to our 11th graders where they learn to understand more deeply this area of the fine arts. Mrs. Hayden is the head honcho of the English department, who has been at our school for several years Despite this fact, she still possesses an innovative and fresh approach to her students. Mrs. Corigliano gives her 7th grade English students the foundation needed for a high school career. One thing is certain: No student leaves her class without knowing more than when they came in. Mrs. Magiera who primarily teaches the 10th grade is extremely industrious. She puts a lot of time in the presentation of her lessons. Everyone knows when Mrs Magiera has heard a good anecdote because her resounding laugh can be heard throughout the halls. Ms. Norrix is an outgoing person who is replacing Mrs. Berquist who is away on maternity leave The students can really relate to her, and we are all happy to have had the chance to know her.
