MEMOIR 79 Berne Knox-Westerlo Central School Berne, New York Volume 42 American Yearbook Company Pick a color early on, don't shift around Adhere it to the purple of your soul. Remember early on that prism is illusion Don't be rainbow-fooled In the purple of your mind. If yellow you------confess it, take it Blend it with the purple of your life. One color bodies all there is of you. Sad tales appear in purple dreams Of shifting sands of moving space of spectrum-spectres Rotten ghosts. Don't be fooled, latch on, look Best early on to find the color Simply there in the purple of your self. — Nancy Hayden Each of us needs guidance in different areas to refine our transition to maturity. Your strong leadership has helped us toward that goal. For years, you have built us up physically as a coach, educated us mentally as a teacher, and counseled us as a principal. But much more than that, you have shared with us things that can't be written in a book. Things such as being true and honest to ourselves as well as to others, caring for our classmates, planning for our future and much, much more. What you nave given us is a standard of living. You have helped us achieve a purpose and a will to succeed in life. We, the Staff of Memoir '79, with the utmost respect and love, present as an enduring token of our gratitude this yearbook to you, Mr. Ernest Ecker We Shall Never Pass This Way Again - Seals And Crofts Board and Administration Mr. aul Johann, high School Principal Mr. Perry Kane, Business Manager Mr. Henry Brezinskl, Superintendent Mr. Ronald Conners, Elementary Principal School Board: Vice President A.
